The world right now is frazzled, frustrated and frenzied but Jesus invites us to follow him to a different way. Can we become un-distracted in a world overwhelmed with noise? Let's take some time and refocus our attention on what it looks like follow Jesus in a new sermon series.

Reopening In-person Gatherings

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alfhPMnWIA4&w=560&h=315]

You know our mission is to invite our neighbors to meet and follow Jesus. In pursuit of this calling we’ve made the decision to begin an in-person worship gathering in order to connect with our neighbors who do no have internet access but are interested in connecting with Grace. We will continue to live-stream our gathering and will be starting a Zoom after-call in order to let those of us who are staying home continue to connect.

It's time to gather again

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.

— James 4:13‭-‬17 ESV

None of us could have imagined what June 2020 would look like back in February. Major global and national events have hopefully given us fresh ears to hear these wise words. As we prepare our hearts to gather together in person for the first time since March (three months!) let's continue with that spirit of humility and wisdom. You have my prayers and I look forward to taking our next steps with Jesus together.

-Michael
