MISSION STORY
Growing up in Japan, Mai didn’t know a single Christian. In college, she studied in California where she met Christians and realized they had something special, and she wanted it. She started reading her Bible and praying. After she became a believer, her friends warned her that returning to Japan would be difficult. While it has been, Mai is amazed to see how God is working. She is the only Christian in her family and community, but she knows she is here for a reason. She and her husband Matt want the Japanese to know the truth of who Christ is. Pray that they will have opportunities to share Jesus with those around them.

PRAYER FOCUS
Preaching Retreat
Every year our church leadership takes some time away to do focus on planning out our calendar for the upcoming year and more. Please pray for Michael and the other pastors of our churches in Lakeland and Sebring as they take a few days to pray and seek God’s direction for our teaching Sunday January 31-February 2.

FELLOWSHIP SPOTLIGHT
CIDEL is a leadership training program in the Central African Republic (CAR). This ministry seeks to transform the culture, starting with the individual’s relationship with God and expanding to impact the world through integrity, discipline, and courage. By cultivating a close relationship with God and an understanding of biblical leadership, individuals are transformed, leading to transformation for their families, churches, workplaces, and nation. Pray that the people of the CAR continue to live in partnership with God through CIDEL. Watch this video to learn more about CIDEL’s impact in the CAR.
