โ€œPushback to the Gospel is expected, it's also an opportunity."

Acts 3:1-4:31 by Ryan Gagnon (@RyGagnon)

SUMMARY

This sermon teaches that opposition to the gospel is expected, not a reason to give up. More importantly God can use opposition as an opportunity to show his power. Pastor Ryan shows that Christians are called to point broken people to Jesus and rely on prayer, the Holy Spirit, and Christโ€™s strength for boldness.

REFLECTION & DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

  • ๐Ÿ’ฌ Where in life have you experienced pushback to the Gospel, are you mistaking it as a sign to retreat or do you see it as something Jesus promised?

  • ๐Ÿ’ฌ Are you relying on self defense or your intimacy with Jesus when youโ€™re challenged?

  • ๐Ÿ’ฌ When youโ€™re under pressure, do you ask Jesus to remove the pushback or do you pray for more boldness to overcome it?
