“Communion internalizes what God says is true as we rebel against the hopelessness of a fallen world through humbled pretenses.”

Luke 22 & John 13 by Michael Lockstampfor (@miklocks)

SUMMARY

In Luke 22, Jesus takes the Passover meal and reframes the bread and cup as a way to remember his coming sacrifice—his body broken and blood poured out to pay the price for sin. Communion is not just a ritual, but a personal and transforming reminder that Jesus’ sacrifice was for us, calling us to receive his grace, let it shape our lives, and examine our hearts honestly.
